Hello all, glad that I'm able to blog again. Was really busy last few weeks due to my mid term exam.

Today, I'll continue to review the second mask from previous Magnificent Mask Giveaways by HiShop.my. !

 So, what exactly is Mediheal Kiwi Apple Ade Mask?

Those who know me will know that I have a face full of light pimples scars on both cheeks due to serious skin problems i had before. I was really happy when I receive this mask knowing that it could diminishes pimple scars!

The one i received is in Kiwi Apple, other than that, there is also pomegranate, pumpkin, cacao, lemon lime and acai berry. I've heard of the Vitamin C content in Kiwi, so I think perhaps it is the one that helps to reduce the appearance of scars. Also, on the back of the packaging, written that there is pore care and cleansing properties too.

I noticed that the mask is made of Tencel, which is actually Eucalyptus fibre. Best known for it's absorbency, hygiene and temperature regulation. Also, it is Naturally hypoallergenic.

The overall feel of the mask is thicker compared to those in drug store. There is DNA-like shaped on the mask. The mask is well absorbed in it's essence and there is no residue in the package when i removed it out.

For me, it smells like those Apple hand soap/ bathing gel. Similar to those of children. It smells rather sweet compared to previous Bidanpo Mediental Balhyo-Mibaek Healing Mask I reviewed.

Also I noticed there is two symbol above the barcode.

The first one look like something being removed from pores, indicating it's pore cleaning function i guess.
Second one is of a pill like symbol. I think it's because of its healing properties.

The mask fitted well on my big wide Asian face.

However, due to it's thickness. It don't feel like there is nothing on the face, compared to other thinner mask.

Like other mask, the direction to apply is similar.
1. Cleanse your face with facial cleanser, and prep skin with toner.
2. Remove mask from package and place onto the face.
3. Rest comfortably for 10-20minutes and remove. For me, I leave it for 20minutes. Surprisingly, there is still a lots of essences in the mask. It does not dry up like some others mask I've tried.
4. Pat remaining essence into the skin lightly until fully absorbed.

For me the 4th step is really important as it helps your skin to further improve the essences. Also, patting the skin lightly will help the skin to absorb better by making the cell to reshape into round shape rather than oval shape and block the passage to deeper side of the skin.
I really don't know how to explain this but all that I know is it is really good to pat your skin.

First was my bare face before application, Second(the brighter one) was after application.
The result is not really accurate from photos due to the lightning although I snap the photos from a same spot. However, what I think was my skin got brighter and glows with radiance but sadly, I can't see any improvement on the scars.

Skincare : Bidanpo Mediental Balhyo-Mibaek Healing Mask Review.

As a beauty ambassador from HiShop.my , I'm glad that I'm allowed to be take part in the Giveaways contest. And being lucky, I've won myself 3 masks from the giveaways! *Jump happily*

Here I'll be reviewing the Balhyo-Mibaek Healing Mask from Bidanpo Korea which helps to Brighten and Improve dull complexions.

 A whitening mask pack providing your skin with shine and vitality and brightens your complexion with doctors' secret method 'Mibaeck Cheongjeongdan', fermenting and maturing 12 precious medicinal herbs in a bamboo bucket for those of you having worries of cull skin resulting from blemishes or freckles.

The packaging is like other masks, covered in purple tone and of course, full of Koreans. However, being user friendly, there is also some explanation in English language.

Removing the mask from it's 25ml packaging, what surprised me is there are no residue left in the packaging. Means all 25ml of essence is soaked in the mask, to be apply to the face! Worth for money I can say?

The mask sheet is soft and is a little brown/ cream in color. I assume the color is cause by the herbal and fermentation. Smell wise, it is a little strong, like those of fermentated smell, or a little bit of chemical from hair saloon smell.

Direction of use is like all other masks.

1. Cleanse your face with proper facial cleanser. Mine is from Biotherm.
2. Prep the face with your favorite toner.
3. Apple the sheet mask on, set you timer to a 10-20minutes.

4. Remove the mask sheet when time is up, gently pat the remaining so it is absorbed into the skin.
5. Resume your skincare regime.

I don't see any immediate result after using the mask. However, I believe the mask is not designed to use for short term, as skin needs about a month of treatment time to gain changes.

Next day morning after using the mask, I noticed my face has got it brightness back. I believe it is a positive result from the mask overnight.

Skin Health : Fine Co. Hyaluron and Collagen

Stepping into the first 20's of my life. That was a quite horrifying facts. I remember that on 2009 I'm still discussing with Vicky about what skincare range to use for different age range.
Basically, 20 and below will be hydration, 20-25 will be Whitening, 25-30 anti-aging and of course, those premium aging repair for age 30 and above. I will never hesitate to try out new products for my skin health.
I've tried ranges of skincare, finally settled down on the one that suit me well. To boost up the effect, I put collagen into consideration.

Women are never too young to consume collagen. As age grows, our body start to loss its collagen. So for prevention purpose, one should start consuming collagen at the age of 20 if possible.
I've been eying on collagen power for some times. I've heard several pros about it and I really wanted to try. So few days ago. I've saw there's sale in Hishop.my on Fine Co. collagen powder. Without thinking, I purchased it.

Why powder collagen but not other bottle or jelly or tablet collagen?
Frankly said, I just feel that powder collagen will be cheaper than other alternative. There's also a few other company like Meiji, Lotte who produces collagen. Why choose Fine? First, it's slightly expensive than others, but not too expensive. That makes me feel that there will be visible effect. However, if there is chance, I'll want to try the others too. There's a safety seal for the product like all others milk powder. it's easy to be open, just to be careful not to cut your finger while doing so.

Inside is half filled with a 15cc spoon provided. The powder is super easy to be dissolved, or should I say, keep it out from moist places. Being a careless girl there's one I pour the powder too hard and I can feel my table got sticky afterward.

Taste wise, unless you eat it without adding anything, you won't be able to taste any fishy smell. It is quite unbelievable, I thought there will be fishy smell since it was from fishes. The powder just tasted like milk powder. The product will be a great substitute for coffee creamer. There is also some other way of consuming, include to add it on your ice cream or jelly dessert etc. There's also this instruction paper that teaches the tasty way of consuming, which is half cup milk + 1 spoon + half cup milk. I will try that out if I got the time.

I can say that this is a very convenient product for me. All I need to do is add in a spoonful(7g) of the powder to my coffee/milktea/nestum in the morning and I'm done.First time buyer is advised to buy the tin pack so that you get the spoon provided. The spoon will help to get you an accurate amount of collagen powder easily.

Servings per day (7g) contains:

• Hyaluronic Acid - 60mg
• Collagen - 5,250mg
• Elastin - 15mg
• Pearl Coix Extract - 450mg
• Vitamin H - 45 µg
• Vitamin C - 100mg

 I'm sure the 5250mg collagen is enough for our day, as I've read it somewhere that our body need only 5000mg of collagen per day.

Result?
After about 4 days consuming this, I've noticed my cheek glows in rosy pink from under my skin. Other than this, I haven't really notice any changes on skin condition. I think I should put it like this, the product works for me, it helped my skin from inner part, but slowly.

In overall, I'm quite satisfy with the product. I've also seen review on skin getting better after 2nd week of consumption, lets see what will happen afterward :) I shall update the result again.

Skincare : ePure Membranous Jelly Masks Review.

While everybody is busy with their own life, recently there was a big trend ongoing in the skincare line. From facebook, instagram, blogs, twitter, everyone Jelly here Jelly there. So what exactly this Jelly is about ? Out of curiosity + persuading by Ling, I decided to take a try on this product.

I'm always a counter cosmetic person, where I don't really believe in other products. Currently my favorite mask is definitely from Estée Lauder, but seems like they had discountinued the product. Other than that, Laneige water sleeping pack EX is definitely another favorite of mine for hydrating purpose.

Okay back to the Jelly story, the Jelly thing is actually gel type mask, developed by the renowned Dr Yulong Moy from USA. The first of its kind facial mask with Active Cellular Factor.

 This unique mask retain 70% more moisture than other sheet mask, it forces the skin pores to fully absorb the nourishing ingredients while drawing out the impurities instantaneously. it also inhibit melanin synthesis, which lightens pigmentation, balances uneven skin tone, leaves your skin brighter and supple with dewy fresh vibrance.

Seems like it's some osmosis process thing..
After reading so much review, now it's my turn to write one.

 

The one I bought is in Jar, cost me RM130. The texture is gel like. Jelly. Each bottle comes with a spatula, make sure to use it for hygienic purpose.

So after cleaning my face with daily cleanser, I apply the Jelly all over my face. Required amount is quite a lot, you'll have to apply a thick layer to your face. around 3-5mm.. Make sure to apply more on your T-zone. As the Jelly also claims to remove black heads and tighten pores. Of course, T-zone usually has the most obvious pores.

 Wait for 40minutes, you can relax, or just go ahead and continue with your undone task. What I like about the mask is it won't drip down any essence, won't displaced like sheet mask do. Also, you can freely smile, laugh as hard as you can, unlike using clay mask / peeling mask which harden over time.

Next, you'll have to scrap the jelly off using the spatula again, and then wash your face with water till there's no more residue.

Left was before and right was after. Skin definitely become brighter but it is not obvious due to my dark lightning in the room. Also, my skin is now less yellow compared to before.
Also, for the nose part, I noticed that white heads has came out from underneath the skin, but I'll have to remove them manually using a tweezers. Speaking of the purifying power, yes can be seen from the white head case.

Blemishes did not go down, but skin feel more moisturized and softer. However, I personally think that it is more to a short term hydration. I guess that's why I'm instructed to use the mask as least 3 times per week for the first month, and then once or twice per week second months onwards. Personally think also my skin become brighter and fairer.

Last step will be your normal skincare routine again. For me, I'll use my Biotherm Purefect Skin Toner and moisturizer..Love this range as it reduce down breakout from my skin.

In overall, éPure Membranous Jelly Masque did shows improvement on my problematic skin. However, pores reduction is not that obvious. Might have to go for a long term use to see more obvious result. Pricewise, RM130 for a 250g bottle of mask. It seems expensive but it will last around 9 to 10 use. RM 13 each time ? Worth it or not, judge it by yourself.

Will I purchase the product again? All depends after I finish up this jar :)

However, I've heard from others that you'll have to continuously use this. Or else face will go very dull looking. I'm still seeking for a confirmation. Will update when I got the answer.

About a few days ago, I've seen this fry ice yogurt thingy video appeared on Facebook. Nevertheless, Facebook is really a good promoting channel. Well back to the topic, since I will be around the area so I decided to pay a visit to this stall.

If you're in the middle ground floor of Prangin Mall, you'll see this white wall thing, which is the back side of the stall, facing the middle Ground floor. My cousin and I were approached by a friendly girl when we walk passed there. We received a brochure, and soon we noticed that they're doing their opening promotion now.
Of course, the big "Buy 1 Free 1" make us happy for awhile.

There were quite a lot of people queuing in front of us that time, I guess everyone is feeling excited to try out this unique dessert. First ever in Penang! 

Fooyo uses fresh fruits throughout the whole making processes. From there you can see that the helper are busying cutting fruits and placed them in small small cup to make sure right amount of fruits are used. Of course, like what they claimed, yogurt are low in fat, and will make you healthy as well by helping the digestive system. Another interesting view from outside, we get to see the making procedure.

So after a few moments queuing, we finally get to place our order. Few types of fruits to be choose from, which is strawberry, dragon fruits, mango, kiwi, banana and also original. I believe that they can only use soft fruits, as they'll need to somehow "mash" the fruits together with the yogurt later on. After order and payment, you'll need to wait for awhile, looking at your order being process LIVE. Cousin and I ordered mango and kiwi flavour, the buy 1 free 1 is actually buy a "main" dessert, and you get a small cup of frozen yogurt free. Since the frozen yogurt is running out of stock, we get ice blended drink as replacement.

The staff will first pour in a measured cup of white liquid, which is believe is yogurt on the chilled surface. Next he'll drop in the fruits, and start chopping it.

The process took bout 1 minutes until all the fruit are mashed properly. After that, he'll make the compound into thin and flat surface and leave for few minutes till it freeze up. Then, a scrap on that and your dessert is ready. Of course not to forget the eggroll biscuit (similar to love letter) and some healthy seeds, raisins as topping. It's free of charge :)

How does it looks like to you? Oh I forget to mention bout the biscuit layer at the most bottom. It gets soften and sweeten after the fry yogurt melts.

In overall, it is something new for you to try if you passed by this area. Service is slow on my visit, must be caused by the crowd and insufficient staff. Waiting for this desserts took me more than half an hour. Fry yogurt has the fruity taste, but is lacking of the thickness of yogurt. More like a light yogurt to me, can barely taste the yogurt taste. Personally liked the egg roll thingy and I think it goes well with the dessert. Other than that, my cousin and I prefer the melted version more. Both of us agreed that it taste better.

Other than fry fruity yogurt, they sell also waffles, frozen yogurt and ice blended. If I would visit again, I'll want to try their homemade waffles.

Picture above was our Free ice blended drinks, kiwi and mango as well. Drink is just normal, nothing special. Friendly reminder, don't leave the drink out for too long. Or it will become two layers, which all the fruit will go up, and the water will be on the bottom. Yep it happened on my drink.

Price for the fry fruity yogurt is either RM 8.50 or RM 8.90. Same goes to the ice blended and others as they priced around this too. Personally think that they should try to offer more choices to the consumer and revise their recipe to a better one. However, the idea was great.

Review Summary: Great place to start for the morning. All rounded cafe, and will definitely visit again :)

Sudden crave for traditional breakfast recently has brought me back my memories, where around 1 year ago I've came to this cafe, under recommendation of a schoolmate.People who know me know I'm direction-less, and gladly I met this girl where she knows the place and bring me here again. Surprisingly, the direction to here is actually not that complicated.

After driving for a distance at the long road, you'll slowly noticed cars parking along the left side. This is somehow a "sign" to indicate that you're almost there, be careful not to miss the cafe ya. At early 7:40am, there were so many cars parking along the road and we're forced to park quite a distance from the cafe. The cafe is located directly opposite Pos Malaysia. And for those who come here on Monday, sorry you'll have to miss your meal here cause they're close. As for night time, they will sell Ipoh salted chicken, satay, bihun soup and porridge here.

Just like other "kopitiams" there are no nice furnishing nor any air conditional here. Since it's in the morning, there's is breeze of air and it is just right to have only fan there.

We found a place and sat down, next served by the owner there, I think they are husband and wife. On top of table there are packets of Nasi Lemak, which means coconut milk fragrant rice. The rice are served with various toppings which you can choose from. There are no menus around but a piece of board stating what they're selling inside the store.

For those who doesn't know how to read Chinese, it means 2pcs of toasted bread RM2.00, 2pcs of half-boiled eggs RM 1.40. We ordered one set each, and a cup of Kopi-O for me and milo for her.

It doesn't takes long for the food to be served. In case you're super duper hungry, you can always eat nasi lemak first. Choices of the day was Ikan Bilis(with B labelled) and Fish one.

Remember to stir the coffee if you ordered one, sugar was all at the bottom. You can always opt for a plain coffee without sugar by telling them "Mai Liao" (in hokkien). Half boiled eggs was done well, not over not under cook. I prefer it without soy sauce, just personal preference. In case you got an under cook eggs, you can always ask them to change for you like what I did last visit.
The bread was toasted finely and a layer of butter was applied on top and served. For those who prefer sweeter toast, there is a bottle of sugar on the table where you can top it up to your bread as you like.

Sitting and enjoying my morning, I'll hear things like "noh teah" "noh liap". After understand it actually means noh teah roti (means 2 pcs of toasts) and noh liap eggs (means 2 half boiled eggs).

For a breakfast like this, plus a takeaway of 3 packets nasi lemak, it costs me RM8.40, which was so reasonable. I was a English breakfast lover, but it is good to switch back to these type of traditional breakfast once in a while. So for those who stays around this area, now you know where to go to start your day.

Hennessy Artistry 2013 : Experience the sensational mix of sight soundand taste @ sPICE Penang !

On 25 May 2013, I've attended the H-Artistry event for the first time. In case you guys are wondering, what are this Hennessy Artistry event, you guys can search bout it over Google, or let me tell you bout my first timer experience over there.

For every year, the organizer will invite artists / DJs from all over the globe to attend this party and make the clubbing experience grow. The event will be held at different location each year, and form what I've seen, they even have it over Taipei in Taiwan , ShangHai in China with their famous local celebrities like Mayday etc. Of course not to forget all those DJs. As for Malaysia, particularly Penang this year, we have 24 Herbs (which got famous after the movie Lan Kwai Fong 1&2) and also DJ Andy Murphy and Nicole Chen from singapore.!

I reached there around 8pm, the event last from 7pm to 1am. There was still not much of people around. Parking was a problem there as only VIPs are allowed to park inside the arena. Oh did I mentioned that the sPICE arena was formerly named as PISA(Penang International Sports Arena)? Sp group took over the building and renovated it and renamed it as sPICE now.

Walked in and I started to see crowds, most was at the mixing bars. Hennessy offered their 4 signature V.S.O.P long drinks, featuring the Hennessy Apple, Hennessy Berry, Hennessy Ginger and Hennessy Soda. Personally like the Apple and Berry one as I love the fruity tinge from the fruit juice itself.

My invitation card :) Oh this was my first time having RED RED RED hair and I'm liking it. Have to store up the moments before it fades in few weeks time. Looking good ya ? :)

Alexis Chean颜莞倩, former Astro Star Quest Champion joined in their performance at the end.
