Scam mail notification.

This is E Jinq blogging about CIMB bank scam mail.

Recently I have come across this type of scam mail,
which is obviously a scam, cause I doesn't have a CIMB bank account.

So.. how does it looks like?

by pointing your cursor to the link, (most of them will hyperlink the word "HERE"),you'll find that there's a link over the bottom left side of your screen, and that doesn't direct you to the web it suppose to be.

For example,

It directs me to www.judorioverde.com.vr/cimbclicks/blah/blah/blah.html instead of http://www.cimbclicks.com.my/

And to point out that the email of the sender seems real too, but when you see carefully, it's security.alert@cimb
click.com.my where there is not S after the CIMBCLICK word.
I also received another two from clicks@cimb.com.my and cimb@bankinfo.com.my.

Thus, always be aware when you click into any website and fill in your details(especially bank details).
Do always check the link you're going to click in before anything else.
This will save you from a lots of trouble afterwards, not to mention viruses too.
